Episode 1: It Started With a Broken Phone
It all started when we saw our best friend break his phone while riding. That moment made us wonder, why wasn't there a mount we could actually trust?
Episode 2: An Idea Takes Shape
After trying multiple mounts, we figured out what a rider actually needs. We designed, 3D printed, failed, redesigned and failed even better. Then we made this: simple magnetic mount. But there was one problem: vibration dampening.
So we tested it on bicycles first. After plenty of “No, thank you,” one retailer finally said yes. Our first pilot batch went live and the response was something we never expected.
Episode 03: From Pitch Deck to Pilot Batch
We walked into India’s biggest premium cycling store with nothing but a pitch deck.
After getting Bumsonthesaddle on board, six months of testing, iteration, and real-world feedback transformed our first prototype into something people could actually buy.
And when it went live, the response surprised us.
But this was only the beginning.
Episode 04: When Magnets Weren’t Enough
We sold our first 50 units… and that’s when the real problem started.
Riders loved the concept, but one question kept coming up: “Is the magnet strong enough?”
24 neodymium magnets could do the job, but we understood the psychological barrier. So we went back to the drawing board and combined magnetic ease with a mechanical lock.
What we came up with changed URA completely.
Episode 05: Back to Square One
We almost gave up. This was the lowest point of the journey.
After two months of rethinking everything, something finally clicked. That idea took us to Ludhiana, where our vision could finally become a real product.
Working alongside my dad, Ashwinder Singh, we built the next prototype.
But this was just the beginning.
Episode 06: From R&D to Reality
After 10 months of intensive R&D, countless iterations, and manufacturing in Ludhiana, the final version was finally ready.
From an idea to a fully engineered product, introducing URA’s Motorcycle Mount.
But getting here was only half the journey.
Episode 07: Decoding the Vibration Dampener
More rubber doesn’t always mean better vibration dampening.
We tested six, four, and three dampeners and surprisingly, three gave us the best result, isolating almost 70% of vibrations. Inspired by automotive engine mounts, we designed a system that distributes forces from every direction.

Episode 08: We Dared People to Rip It Off
We dared people to rip it off. For six months, we put URA through real roads, real riders, multiple bikes, and speeds up to 120 kmph.
From the Classic 500 to 650cc bikes, Androids to iPhones, and some seriously aggressive pull tests andthe mount held up.
Episode 09: How Good Is URA's mount?
First impressions were great. But how good is URA when put against the benchmark?
We compared URA and a leading premium handlebar mount across design, mounting speed, convenience, and vibration dampening. The differences were clear and URA’s flush ring and under-two-second mounting make everyday use incredibly simple.
